Not sure what specific requirements you are seeking but basically you must be above 18yrs of age, openness of heart to take this on as a serious pilgrimage and not a holiday and to be united throughout WYD with the group. im also from the philippines working in sg, and i was wondering how your WYD plans r progressing as of date.. have u gotten your visa now? coz im joining my church group as they r also planning to attend the WYD.. was trying to browse over the net hoping to find tips from people joining as well. i hope to hear a reply from u. thanks
to CAYConline, can i ask if your group will be the official delegates of Singapore to the WYD2011? because i was hoping to join the official group as well, but i dunno if there’s one. besides, our church group is currently organizing a similar trip, but to a smaller extent coz we are only around 10-15 persons. Have you tried contacting parishes or something like that? Thank you so much.

we are delegates from Catholic Archdiocesan Youth Centre but we are aware that there other groups and individuals going and we’re supportive of them. Not sure what you mean by contacting other parishes but if you mean publicity. Yes we have sent official publicity to all parishes. If you are interested you can check out our WYD publicity and check out the details. Our registration closes on 31 Jan. Do send in your Registration form and 1st installment of $800. My son is 16 years old and he would like to go. Will he be allowered to take part.

Yes 16years is too young and there are some restrictions for such a young age.
hi! i am interested to join the world youth day 2011. i am 32 next year so am not sure if there’s any age limit. and i am filipino working in singapore. hope you can help me.
